1. WHAT IS THE LIGHTFURY WARRANTY ?

2. IS IT WATERPROOF ?

LightFury Kits are weatherproof, meaning they can withstand mild drizzles, splashes, high-wind blasts upto 150kmph, and extreme heat. But we do not recommend using it in the rains, as ultimately it is an electronic device. It’s okay if you get caught in the rain, simply keep the device powered off and let it dry completely before turning it on.
We are working on a future version that might be able to withstand even a thunderstorm.


3. HOW LONG DOES THE BATTERY LAST ?

Two, fully charged, AA rechargeable batteries can illuminate a helmet for 10-12 hours in constant mode, and 12-20 hours in the blinking modes. Standard AA alkaline batteries can also be used. Different AA batteries will sustain charge for different lengths of time. Use 2100mAh NiMH (Nickel-Metal Hydride) rechargeable for the best results.


4. ARE THE KITS COMPATIBLE WITH MATTE HELMETS ?

Yes, 100%. Infact you can install a LightFury Kit on any type of helmet, be it a full face, open face, modular, bicycle helmet, half helmet, hybrid helmet, or just any helmet.lightfury-compatible-with-all-helmet-types

5. IS THE CONTROLLER REMOVABLE ?

If you don’t want the controller all the time on the helmet, you can simply detach it and keep it in your pocket, the clamp is used to mount/dismount quickly and easily. You can also mount your GoPro Camera on our controller helmet mount, when not using LightFury.


6. IS THE MOD PERMANENT ?

Yes, and for good. We opted for a more secure attachment method, over a convenient one, to ensure that the lighting components won’t fly off when travelling at high speeds.
Though the lights are removable with a process, we do not recommend doing so as it might damage the lights permanently.


7. DOES THE KIT INCLUDE HELMET ?

LightFury Kits are popular due to their DIY flexibility, which provides infinite potential for unleashing your creativity and making your helmet one of a kind on this whole damn planet. You can create ANY design on ANY helmet, and thats what makes LightFury unique and hence Psytron Kit does not include a helmet.


8. IS IT LEGAL ?

Every state/union territory has its own RTO rules when it comes to motor vehicles.Rules does not consider the vehicle operator as part of the vehicle, so the laws that govern the lighting of a motor vehicle do not apply, and therefore this is legal. In Mumbai, India, we have ridden with it ON, while passing countless traffic police officers and have not been pulled over for it.

LightFury Helmet Mod is made for enhancing rider’s safety & visibility. We are sure that traffic cops do not have any issues with your safety, but we still request you make an enquiry from your local RTO .

We are not responsible for any encounters you may come across with your local authorities.


9. DO YOU SHIP OVERSEAS AND TO P.O. BOXES ?

Yes, we’ll ship your package anywhere that can accept deliveries. We charge a Flat Rate Shipping.

Please note, we are not responsible for any duty/taxes incurred upon receiving your shipment.

For International Customers (outside India), use the PayPal Button at the bottom of product description, to make a purchase. Shipping Cost via Registered Air Mail is included.


10. WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY ORDER TO ARRIVE ?

International orders reach in 5-15 business days after shipping. Faster options are available.

Orders in India will reach in 4-5 business days (after shipping) across all major cities. Delivery in  smaller towns may take a little longer.

Faster options are available. Sometimes the destination country’s customs can hold parcels for weeks, and in rare cases, months. It is strongly recommended you choose a shipping option that is tracked from start to finish.


11. WILL I HAVE TO PAY DUTY/TAXES UPON DELIVERY ?

Normally, duty and tax rates are set by your government, and your post office is required to collect it upon receipt of an item. It’s standard practice worldwide, although sometimes customs offices do not charge duties/taxes for a variety of reasons.

Not applicable for orders from India.
